Personal Information
EveryContractor.com does not collect personal information about consumers without
their consent. In cases when such information is required, you are prompted to provide
the minimum amount of information necessary. EveryContractor.com keeps such information
strictly confidential, and will not disclose any personally identifiable information
except in compliance with law.
There are a few instances where personal information is requested on our website:
Requesting a Contractor or Service Professional: Using
the EveryContractor.com site, you may be prompted to disclose certain information
about your project or service requirements. In the event that you choose to provide
EveryContractor.com with personally identifiable information about yourself, by
providing this information to us, you expressly consent to being contacted by us
and our parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates via telephone, fax, email,
mail or other reasonable means, at any of your contact numbers or addresses, even
if you are listed on any federal, state, provincial or other applicable "Do Not
Call" list, in order that we may provide the services for which you have provided
your personally identifiable information.
Contact us: On the "Contact Us" form, we provide you the option
of contacting us for obtaining information. If you choose to contact us with a question
or comment and provide your email address, you will receive a response from our
staff. EveryContractor.com keeps this information strictly confidential. You may
request that it be deleted from our system by emailing privacy@everycontractor.com.
Protection of personal information. EveryContractor.com makes every effort to protect
your personal information by supporting Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology when
you submit information over the web. SSL encrypts your personal information to prevent
its interception and decoding by any party other than our team. To check the security
of your connection, look at the bottom of your browser window after selecting the
secure connection option. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending
upon your browser), SSL is active. You can also double-check by looking at the URL
line of your browser -- when accessing a secure server, the first characters of
the site address will change from "http" to "https."
Any personal information you provide will be kept confidential and made accessible
to EveryContractor.com employees on a need-to-know basis only. EveryContractor.com
uses firewalls and other technologies to keep data private and reviews its security
practices on a regular basis.
Server logs
Like most web sites, EveryContractor.com keeps server logs of access to its sites.
These logs are used internally to determine what sections of our site are being
accessed so that we may improve our site. These logs do not contain personally identifiable
information such as your name or email address.
Cookies
Cookies are bits of information that are stored on your computer by your browser.
Cookies are used to remember settings for your browser so that you would not have
to enter them each time you return and to enhance your web browsing experience.
For more information on our privacy policy please email privacy@everycontractor.com. If you have provided any personal
information and would like to verify it or opt out, you may do so by emailing privacy@everycontractor.com.
